"From Farm to Fabric: The Many Faces of Cotton"

The 74th Plenary Meeting of the International Cotton Advisory Committee will be held at the JW Marriot Mumbai Sahar Hotel, an exciting venue in Mumbai.
The suggested theme encompasses a broad range of topics, including mechanized picking, climate change, international exchange of germplasm, sustainable production practices and use of cotton by-products
The Organizing Committee of the 74th Plenary Meeting of the International Cotton Advisory Committee met on September 29 & 30, 2015, at the Office of the Textile Commissioner in Mumbai, to discuss the preparations for the meeting, and plans including social and cultural events are being completed by representatives of the Ministry of Textiles, other government agencies, researchers and the private sector.
The meeting will include evening receptions and dinners, as well as shopping and sightseeing tours of Mumbai. A visit to the Elephanta Caves on the afternoon of Wednesday December 9, 2015, is being planned for all participants.
A post-conference Technical Tour to Nagpur is offered for a modest fee to those who may wish to explore India in greater detail.
