Report of an Expert Panel on Biotechnology in Cotton
In January 2000, the International Cotton Advisory Committee constituted an expert panel on biotechnology of cotton with the objective to provide objective, science-based information on the use of biotechnology in cotton. The panel consisted of members from Australia, Brazil, Egypt, France, Greece, India, UK, and USA. The panel produced a report taking into account the negative and positive aspects of the biotechnological applications in cotton.
