Overview

The 73rd Plenary Meeting will be held in Thessaloniki (Greece), November 2-7, 2014. The venue of the meeting will be the Makedonia Palace Hotel, located in the center of the city.

Transportation to Makedonia Palace Hotel from the airport is as follows:
Saturday 1, November, 2014: 15:00hrs & 21:00hrs
Sunday 2, November, 2014: 10:00hrs, 11:00hrs, 15:00hrs, 19:00hrs, 20:30hrs
(Look for the Information Desk at the airport)

Visas

Participants are requested to make their own arrangements with regard to valid travel documents, such as valid passports and visas. To find out whether you require a visa, please consult the following document (even if you have a diplomatic passport):

In case you require a visa to enter Greece, please contact the Embassy/Consulate of Greece in your country of residence.

**ATTENTION**
If your passport does not meet the Schengen requirements, you may be refused boarding by the airline at your point of origin or while transferring planes. 
 
Schengen acquis provides that foreign citizens subject to visa requirement for Greece SHOULD BE EQUIPPED WITH VISA BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE BORDERS. You could also be denied entry when you arrive in Greece.


Participation
 
Registration on-line is mandatory. There are two types of registrations:
  • Member Official Delegates: Only those persons included in the official roster sent in advance to the ICAC Secretariat by member governments will be accredited as Official Delegates. Their registration fee is complimentary.
  • Observers: The registration fee for Observers is US$600 (a discount of US$50 will be applied if registered on-line). One complimentary registration is given per delegation representing a non-member country and international organization. Observers are eligible to attend all plenary sessions and social activities, including coffee and tea breaks, conference lunches each day and all dinners and receptions.
