Overview

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the 76th Plenary Meeting will be held at the International Tashkent Hotel, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on October 22-27, 2017.

Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan and one of the largest cities in Central Asia as well as an important aviation, railroad and automobile junction. Historians believe that Tashkent is more than 2,000 years old, starting from first settlements and growing to a modern large city with crowded avenues, numerous cars, high-rise buildings and parking spaces.

The modern Tashkent is an economic, cultural and political center of the region where one can find offices of foreign companies, international business centers, enterprises, car dealerships, petroleum companies, banks, modern boutiques.

Visas

THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS IN UZBEKISTAN IS NO LONGER ISSUING VISAS FOR THE PLENARY MEETING.

 

Participation

Registration on-line is mandatory. There are two types of registrations:
  • Member Official DelegatesOnly those persons included in the official roster sent in advance to the ICAC Secretariat by the members, will be accredited as Official Delegates. Their registration fee is complimentary but mandatory.
  • Observers: The registration fee for Observers is US$650. One complimentary registration is given per delegation representing a non-member government and international organization. Observers are eligible to attend all plenary sessions and social activities, including coffee and tea breaks, conference lunches each day and all dinners and receptions.
